Godaddy hacked, clients need to reset SSH passwords urgently

Godaddy mentioned it has reset user passwords and SSH accounts as a “precautionary measure” after it detected unauthorized access to a database containing information on millions of its customers.

The company said mail it received an alert that one of its servers was improperly accessed. The company recommends user to conduct an audit of the hosting account themselves.
